'Art of Custom' at the Gibson Guitar Studio
HARLEY-DAVIDSON® ROCKS ITS "NIGHT OF CUSTOM" AT THE GIBSON® GUITAR STUDIO IN LONDON
Iconic motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson rocked out in style at
an event which celebrated the art of 'customisation', hosted at the
iconic Gibson Guitar Studio in London.
Bringing together music and motorcycles, the "Night of Custom" saw
exclusive music performances including a phenomenal set from rock
legends Feeder who headlined in front of an intimate audience. The
Crave, the fresh indie rock outfit from Brighton, delivered a
pumping support set and The Maccabees played three eclectic, crowd
pleasing DJ sets during the night.

They were in good company, as legendary motorcycling family
member Bill Davidson - Vice-President of the Harley-Davidson Museum
and great grandson of founder William A. Davidson - flew in
especially for the event.
Gibson Guitar Studio proved to be the perfect iconic rock and roll
venue for the occasion. The space was decked out especially by
Harley-Davidson, showcasing a range of the world's finest custom
motorcycles. And to add even more to the Night of Custom theme, a
team of Harley-Davidson artists - from 8 Ball Custom Paintwork -
created a special customisation area on the night and showed off
their unique custom design techniques thorough live
demonstrations.
Marking over a century of leadership in bespoke motorcycles and
guitars alike, the inaugural event, hosted by Harley-Davidson and
Gibson Guitar, celebrated the very best in custom design. The
tradition of customisation and the ability to express an individual
personality on a motorcycle is what makes Harley-Davidson so
appealing to millions around the world. Gibson Guitar enjoys the
same notion of customisation through its legendary guitars.

"There are few brands that people tattoo on themselves but
Harley-Davidson is one - it's this level of passion borne out of
the ability to customise or express oneself that we also see in
music which is why we've joined forces with Gibson and had rock
legends Feeder headlining."
"The Harley-Davidson culture is as much about its unique style
as the motorcycles themselves. Self-expression is what Harley is
all about and our unique tradition of customisation has always
given riders the ability to personalise their bike so it becomes an
extension of themselves." said Matthew Knott, PR and Media
Communications Manager, Harley-Davidson Europe.
"Partnering with Gibson for this evening is a natural fit given
the mutual brand values of independence, rebellion and freedom and
we're thrilled to be able to join together for this event,
celebrating what is a rare and defining synergy."

Henry Juszkiewicz Gibson Guitar Chairman and CEO said "Gibson
Guitar has produced the best guitars for the world's most renowned
and enduring musicians over the last 100 years. Similar to the
Harley-Davidson motorcycle brand, no other musical instrument brand
encapsulates the Rock and Roll culture like Gibson. I am pleased to
partner with Harley-Davidson, who is considered the worldwide
leader in motorcycles. Together this London event provides a unique
opportunity to partner with a brand which shares our prestigious
identity and values."
